San José Public Library — eLibrary Card

While the library is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to ensure our community members that don’t have a library card can still apply for one through SJPL’s eLibrary Card. This new eLibrary Card will provide access to SJ Library’s online learning, electronic checkouts, streaming services, and downloads available through the San José Public Library.

Already have a regular library card? There’s no need for an additional card. You can start using your card in the eLibrary right away.

The San Jose Public Library is now offering Telephone Tales, a new storytelling program where anyone can call the library’s phone lines 24/7 to hear stories, songs, rhymes, and more in English, Spanish, or Vietnamese with new stories every Friday.

Santa Clara County Library District — Online Library 24/7

Enjoy free access to eBooks, e-magazines, audiobooks, music, streaming video, online research, The New York Times digital subscription, online classes including Lynda.com, Rosetta Stone, and much more!  When prompted, log-in with an eCard or Library Card.
